Carmen R. Gillett, founder of the law firm in 2007, is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in the practice area of marital and family law (since 2004); and has been practicing exclusively marital and family law since 1998. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers AAML andthe International Academy of Family Lawyers IAFL. She handles complex divorce litigation issues, including but not limited to international custody disputes, jurisdictional disputes, military divorces and appeals of family law issues. She is also trained in the collaborative family law process and is Certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a family law mediator. In addition, Ms. Gillett expects to receive her L.L.M. in Elder Law from Stetson University College of Law in the Spring of 2019 in order to better handle these additional needs of her clients.
